We chat about our joint love of short fiction, the useful lessons that writers can learn from it, and the ways that it is becoming more relevant in today’s world.

Emma chats about her health, her passion for giving a platform to new writers, and announces some exciting upcoming projects.

Emma Kalson is a writer and lover of words. Emma is passionate about publishing and helping promote new authors. Based in Nottingham, UK, she also runs local writing workshops and helps writers self-publish through a range of services.

Since developing M.E. fifteen years ago, and with a more recent fibromyalgia diagnosis, she discovered short story form suits her health, both reading and writing, and enables her to continue indulging her love of literature.

Escaped Ink is a brand new, independent British press, showcasing flash fiction and creative non-fiction from brand new and experienced authors alike.
